Schuberth S3 Thunder Blue

The Schuberth S3 Thunder Blue is an ECE-R 22.06 full-face motorcycle helmet for sport-touring, commuting and longer road journeys. It combines a carbon-reinforced glass-fibre shell with a two-density EPS liner, an integrated sun visor and a pre-installed Pinlock 120 anti-fog lens.

Schuberth develops the S3 in its in-house wind tunnel, balancing stable aerodynamics and controlled aeroacoustics with the ventilation and all-day comfort expected from a touring helmet.

Prepared for Schuberth communications

The S3 is prepared for Schuberth's compatible SC2 communication system, with the microphone, speakers, cable harness and radio antenna already installed in the helmet. The SC2 electronics and controls are sold separately, so their Bluetooth, Mesh Intercom and battery specifications are not helmet features.

Common questions

Is the S3 a flip-front helmet?
No. It is a conventional full-face helmet certified in the P configuration.

Does it have an internal sun visor?
Yes. The drop-down sun visor is integrated and its lower position can be adjusted.

Is an intercom included?
No. The helmet contains the factory-installed audio and antenna preparation, but the compatible Schuberth communications electronics are sold separately.
